A key command or short cut to view in "wire frame"

Post by heyvern »

I find myself switching back and forth to shut off the fill and lines view.

As a short cut I just switch off the eyeball on the layer while drawing so I only see the vectors while tracing or adjusting (I can see the points more easily).

It would be nice to have a quick way to switch to construction lines only.

what about Wireframe view?
You can't have everything. Where would you put it?

Yes that is fine... but there is no "shortcut" to get there. I have some problems with "screen real-estate"... so that darn display button gets behind other palettes... I have to move the screen around to show it. Some of my tools have options at the top that don't fit the screen... so the window is very wide.

Plus... it is several steps. I would like a "one click" option. I use another application that has this function... it is very similar to Moho in use but is 3d...

Funny thing is... I keep hitting the short cut key from THAT application while in Moho... and am surprised when nothing happens. ;)

Currently "turning the layer off" while still having the layer selected is great while drawing or tracing. however swithcing to another layer... can't see it now... so I have to switch off the fills and strokes and turn on construction lines... etc...

Imagine if you could set a layer to view with fills and strokes off and construction lines on... with one key or one click. I often have fills on shapes the make viewing the points of the mesh almost impossible.

Could there be an undocumented shortcut for this that I don't know about?
