There seems to be a limit of 32 tools (8 rows) on the number of tools in each tool group - before things start going a bit wacky. I had random app crashes and a slightly messed up tool panel when I exceeded 32 tools in "Other" on v12.5 and v13.

You can reorganize the tools in [Preferences] >> [Tool Layout]. But I will say that that config panel is poorly designed - with lots & lots of clicking to move stuff around. The config panel would be significantly enhanced if it had the ability to expand/collapse group folders, select multiple tools and drag-and-drop.

Or as others have mentioned - temporarily remove least used tools by moving them to another folder on the file system.

If fact it might be an idea if we could collapse/expand the tool groups in the main GUI. We could then have 'less used' tool groups that are only shown when we need them.

BTW, I should mention that I edited the _tools_list.txt that comes with the Mynd package. When I copy the file that comes with Mynd, it sets up the Groups in the Tools Window that the developer intended, but it also applies some unwanted reorganization. For example, it moved Hayasidist's Bake2PNG to one of the Mynd groups, and it even added a few non-Mynd tools I don't need.

Instead of overwriting the existing _tools_list.txt file, I suggest editing your file to include only the Mynd entries you want. (You can just copy and paste the entries from the Mynd version. Tip: I also prefer keeping my Group titles Upper/lowercase instead of ALL CAPS, so I changed that.)

Thanks for figuring that out and sharing the info! I may not be using the Move tools or 13.0, but good to know in case this comes up with the upcoming 13.5.

BTW, I'm going to change my folder's name to 'disabled' too. That's a more accurate description than what I had.

FYI, I especially appreciate the Switch View tool. This is something I've been asking for for quite some time.

Previously, I was moving all my Switch layer content to an outside folder so I could view all the art layers at once for editing. This is a useful technique when, for example, I need to re-align mouth shapes artwork. Then, when I'm done, I drag the files back into the Switch layer. Surprisingly, Moho retains any keyframes I may have applied to the Switch layer before I moved out the files.

The Switch View tool does a variation of this trick, but it's much easier: just select the Switch layer and click the button. To set it back, just click the button again.

I agree, it's very 'clicky'. For major changes, I find it easier to edit that text file.

Moho had previously been 'clicky' elsewhere with its UI and Mike improved that. I don't feel this one is super critical, but maybe it can eventually get some love too.

Yes, that would be fantastic! One of the reasons I decided to disable/hide the Move tools is because they took up too much space for me. By no means am I suggesting these tools don't deserve the space, but I personally do very little 'explainer video' animations, and I just rather have a smaller Tools window to work with. However, if I was able to collapse a tools Group by clicking on its Name, I would certainly keep more tools (like the Move tools) in the window.

Or maybe it would be better if we can create custom tool windows that we can undock and open/close as needed? For example, I would love to keep the Move tools in their own separate window.

Either works for me, but I'd prefer the latter.

Had my first crash yesterday using the round corner tool swapping from outside arc to indented arc. I must say I am using this tool a LOT even if it does crash.

Same here. Today I'm finding Select Shapes, which is actually the missing 'Select All Shapes' tool, super useful. :)

I was interested in a lot of the tools shown in the videos, however, when i downloaded the zip files i found a lot of them missing.

Have some tools be removed or any way to get them? Especially the "Select all Shapes" tool would be great! :D

I'm not sure if this contains all the files (or the right ones), but here's what I had on my computer:

Anyway, on 13.5 the Select Shape tool already has a "Select All" button you can use.
