color gradient makes a cut

Hi there,

so I used the color gradient effect on the eyes of my character, but in some cases it does makes this weird cut? Any idea why this happens?
It happens in AS 11 and in MOHO 13

That's a picture of the workspace. Does it also happen when you render?

Yes, also happens when I render it

are you using masking?

does the cut appear with a solid fill?

is there an extra gradient marker in there? hidden by another?
