I have a PNG line. Simple straight line of a certain width.
I simply want to make it longer but without changing width.
At the moment it will change width as I stretch it out or in.
Any way of doing this?

How are you stretching it? Layer Transforms, Bones, Mesh Warp ??

Stretching with the layer so it also skews.
I added a bone to the PNG. I can stretch the bone but the linked image doesn't change.
This is surely my lack of knowledge.

Re: Stretching PNG line while keeping proportions
OK. So the easiest stretch to do is with layer transforms, using the outer central layer transform controls. Like below:

Re: Stretching PNG line while keeping proportions
UPDATE: That doesn't work with a PNG image.
Re: Stretching PNG line while keeping proportions
Alno. it sounds like you are holding the shift button when you transform, that makes the tool maintain volume, thereby stretching or squashing ( which is an awesome feature btw).
Try transforming without shift.

Re: Stretching PNG line while keeping proportions
This sounds like your line image was drawn at an angle and imported that way. If so, is there are reason the line can't be drawn horizontal or vertical? This will allow Moho to scale it properly without skewing.
If it must be imported this way, you may either...
1. 'Correct' the rotation by placing the layer inside a group and rotating it to be horizontal (or vertical as the case may be,) and then stretching the group layer. You may then counter rotate the group to match the original rotation.
2. Use a bone to stretch the artwork. With this approach, the angle doesn't matter so long as the bone is aligned with the artwork.
IMO, it's probably easier/cleaner to 'correct' the rotation in your paint program and import it that way. If needed, after stretching the layer in Moho, you can always rotate the image back into its desired angle.
Hope this helps.
