thanks for elaborating! I fully agree that Moho is not the best program to use for image sequence importing and a hand-drawn pencil-test-software style of animating (as opposed to using individual scanned images for cut-out bone-animated characters, props, and backgrounds, where Moho is excellent).

check out this little introduction to switch layers for illustrations to accompany jahnocli's explanation.
It was written for Moho 3.5, so the files will need converting if you want to use them, but the principles are still the same.

It was also written before Papagayo was released - where it mentions Magpie or PAMELA, use Papagayo instead.

I think that for what you want to do you should probably use After Effects.
