"Sue" lines

Post by slice11217 »

Hi,

I have a question about doing something in Moho: in the Lost Marble gallery, under Art & Entertainment, there's a animation called "Sue". If you watch the animation, you'll notice that the lines kind of dance around. In the animation industry, we call it a traceback because basically the inking artist traces the previous drawing to get the line to dance around and add some extra life to the artwork.

How is this done in Moho? Is it something that is done to the stroke, or is it merely a matter of rendering the animation out twice with two different strokes and then alternating which one is visible on a frame-per-frame basis?

Thanks,

Scott

I believe it was done by adding noise to a vector layer. Check out the "Vectors" tab on the Layer Settings box.
