No Brushes ?

Post by SuperSGL »

More of a question Why then How but...I have my created content folder with brushes in the library the same which are in the main program folder library. Only those will work? I've created my own and saved them to my created content folder and they wont show up. When I move them to Programs\Moho\Resourses yada yada yada They will be in my brush settings when I open Moho. Is it a waste of space? Can I delete the brushes Am I just doing something wrong?

No problem adding custom brushes to the custom content folder in 13.5.1 here. The Library doesn't automatically save brushes in the right folder. They need to go in Moho Pro/Brushes. If you're reusing a custom content folder from an earlier version, make sure the folder name has a capital B.

I have Doc...\Moho Pro\ brushes but also same directory ...Library\ Brushes and I also just found ...Moho Pro\My Stuff\Moho 13\ Moho Pro\ Brushes ? That last one seems to be the one Im using. I've made changes just to see where everything went I found them in there. Now I'm afraid to move anything around at least to get them all in one place, That last one seems to be along way around.

There's no brush management inside Moho. Just have to managed those files manually, in your custom content folder.

I thought that was probably the case. Thank you for your help!

Just an after thought: the use of scatter brushes is basically obsolete (almost anyway) I've tried a few different images I created but so many points! not sure if the file size would differ much Vectors would have to compute more and png images would take up more memory...

The vector points in scatter brush would certainly be a larger performance hit, as the brush images are just instances of a relatively small image.
Scatter brush has it's uses, but not as a brush replacement.
