I was wondering if this is possible to do somehow through Moho and scripts to recreate something like this link:
http://www.comcastic.com/
click on puppets.
This was done using Flash, and no 3D engine here. But when the body turns, some side images are used. Somehow Flash uses some written script with gravity etc... I was wondering if this could be posibble for Moho?
physic parameters like this animation?
Moderators: Víctor Paredes, Belgarath, slowtiger
This is a complicated question, but I can provide at least part of the answer: Moho is not an interactive application, so producing something exactly like comcastic (which DOES look brilliant, by the way!) is not possible with Moho alone.
Other elements may be possible -- Moho can import .obj 3D models, I seem to remember that one of Macton's scripts simulates gravity, switch layers can simulate different 3D views, etc. You'd need to experiment...be interested to see the results if you do!

You can't have everything. Where would you put it?

thanks for your answer.
I wasn't wondering too much about the interactive part but more about the physics like gravity, balancing, weights simulations.
The interactivity is great in this example but my job is about animation narrative.

This is one of my long awaited features.
you would also need a collission detection, which would be quite difficult in moho but as I mentioned before quite doable.
all you'd have to do is make sure the solid objects are on the exact same plain as the "ragdoll" character.
I've wished and dreamed of this feature after seeing it in so many 3D apps...
and in some flash work made by people.
moho would definately benefit from it, if not for anything else but to have a new exciting feature.
I guess we'll have to wait and see if Lost Marble ever creates something like that.
Keep your fingers crossed!
