A stickman lightsaber fighting movie

Post by Kristian »

Thirty seconds of lightsaber action. It's not very good, and my nonexistant artistic skills forces me into using stickmen. I am sixteen years old, and this is my very first animation longer that ten seconds.

By the way, does any of you know where I can find some lightsaber sound effects?

Not bad :D My only suggestion is to try and give them weight. When things fall they don't fall at a steady rate. They start out slow, and get faster and faster.

Good work! Though, the motion seems to fluid. Try adding small pauses, or low-speed movement at some places. But still, a nice piece of work!

Lightsaber sound effects can probably be found at http://www.findsounds.com/.

Acceleration, yes... It would probably be hard to implement that now. But I'll see what I can do in future projects.

Can't we just say that it is because those two are extremely skilled fighters?

You have my sincere gratitude for that link.

Not only are we close in age, we are relatively close geographically, too! (I'm in Norway)

Even though the stick figure style is minimalistic, the animation is quite good. I'm thinking in particular after the one character has gone off the edge, and the other character slowly gets up. It seemed very realistic to me, and a nice detail.
