I know it sounds like a stupid question, and I found 2 options in the timeline:
layer visibility
layer opacity
But how do I change the value, 100% to 10$ and make a smoth fade?
I am sure it must be easy..

Double-Click your Layer and set the Opacity % to the Level you like.

Remember that layer visibility has only two states: visible or invisible. If you want a layer only to be partly visible, use layer opacity.
