Anime Studio Pro 11 Comparisons?
Does anyone know if there is a comparative matrix available that compares the current version with 9.5?
Re: Anime Studio Pro 11 Comparisons?
I don't know of a comparative matrix, but there are a few new features overviews:
- 10 (video) http://my.smithmicro.com/animewebinars/ ... rview.html
- 11 (video) http://my.smithmicro.com/animewebinars/ ... rview.html
- 11.2 (forum post) viewtopic.php?f=5&t=28526
Re: Anime Studio Pro 11 Comparisons?
There's been a ton of new features added since version 9.5, most notably (for me anyway): Sketch Bone, FBF Layer, better drawing tools and brush presets, Reference Layers, and Target Bones.
Also, many tools have been merged and simplified, and the UI has been streamlined quite a bit. My favorite UI enhancement is Shift+Alt+Right-clicking directly on a character's face or hands in the workspace to call up a Switch Layer list--this is so much easier and faster than drilling down the Layers Panel to access the Switch Layer control. You can also open several scenes at one time and cut/paste elements between scenes.
It's worth mentioning that many bugs have been fixed too.
Needless to say, I highly recommend the upgrade to 11.

I agree with everything Greenlaw said. Plus, you can pick up ASP11 for $99 right now. http://my.smithmicro.com/anime-studio-pro.html

Whether you buy new or upgrade, it's the same full installer. So the sale is basically the same price for both. So buy new even if you only want to upgrade. You'll get a new serial number, and then you can always upgrade the old one later, if you need a second license.uddhava wrote:Funny though that to upgrade it costs $149!synthsin75 wrote:I agree with everything Greenlaw said.
