As this is my first post here I guess I should start by saying hello... "Hello"
Anyway I recently discovered Anime Studio and I'm digging right in building my first character after a bit of experimentation. I've learned a lot just digging through the forum here and watching the plethora of tutorial and webinar videos on YouTube. To anyone here that has taken the time to share their knowledge through these methods I'd like to say thanks! It's been a great help fast tracking my understanding of the software so far.
Now that I'm past the point of experimentation and testing and on to building my own characters I'm running into a few issues. I was wondering if there was a way to keep points visible while drawing bones? I'm probably being a control freak but I'm having a hard time placing and manipulating bones so they line up precisely with the points I plan on having them control.
Select the vector layer, click on the triangle. On the flyout menu, under Details, check on "Paths". The points should be visible when you're on the bone layer.

Thanks neeters_guy! This is better than nothing but it still doesn't show the points on the paths, just the lines of the path. When I select a vector layer I get the desired point visibility and I can select bones but I don't have access to any tools that can adjust the bone placement. Maybe there is a scripted tool for translating bones that is accessible when the vector layer is the primary layer selection? Worse case I guess I could add some non stroked paths to my vector layers to use as guides.
Ok, after a little more investigating I've discovered that the behavior I'm looking for is available out of the box. Just switch to wireframe display mode and viola the points are visible while drawing bones.
The problem I'm having with my current character setup is that vector layers that are parented under a group layer (for masking) are not displayed when parented under a bone layer when wireframe display is active. I don't know if this is a bug or a feature but at least now I know about it and can work around it in the future. I've noticed some buggy behavior in some other areas but I will address those in a separate thread.
