How Does One Draw a Variable Width Line for Flash Export?
While working on an example for a different post I noticed that when I rendered my variable width Freehand lines animation as a QuickTime movie, the lines looked real nice.
But when I rendered the same variable width Freehand lines animation as a Flash movie - problems. No more variable width, just one same width line.
How does one draw a variable width line in Moho so that it can be exported in a Flash animation???
I do very little with flash export, more focused on broadcast or film output, but there is a checkbox (not on by default if I remember correct) in the render dialog to export variable line width to flash. Perhaps the new render engine isn't doing it quite right. Dunno, and sorry no time to check at the moment, jus' passin' through before some sleep.
The Wizard of Moho scripting does it again!
Thanks for the tip!
---------------------------------
I like to sometimes use Flash rendering for my animation because:
Smaller file for web use.
Looks sharper and cleaner and colors seems more brilliant than QT rendering.
I usually tend to do so many things that would maake a Flash file truly huge anyway, there don't seem to be much point in it. It'd be nice to be able to throw something in a relatively small vector format out there, but I doubt it's ever gonna work that way. Maybe a lil' hacking of the way Ming exports the flash from Moho, but that might take learning C++ and that would hurt. Not today, at least.
