Why doesn't my smart bones work?
I have followed this tutorial
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h8aC6YYlwjE
It all went well until the smart bones part. It seems like you use smart bones like this.
You go to actions and then smart bones.
You look what the bone you are going to use is called.
Then you type that name into smart bones.
Now you go to frame 1 and your timeline get's blue. Now you can manipulate or transform the bone you choosed. What you are supposed to do is to manipulate the bone until a part of the character looks wrong. When you normally manipulate several mistakes will happen one the character. In smart bones you correct the mistakes. According to the tutorial you are supposed.to go from smart bones to draw mode and transform points. Then you transform the points so the character looks better. After this you are supposed to to be able to manipulate the bones whitout the mistake happening. This is where i got the problem. I can change mistakes in the animation. But the changes don't apply the the whole movement. Only one part of the movements get.s fixed. In the tutorial the person can after the smart bones fixing manipulate the bones perfectly whitout running into any mistakes. I still get plenty of mistakes after usings smart bones. The smart bones doesn't fix all the mistakes. You could use many smart bones but unfortunaley you can only use two smart bones on every bone. How do i make the smart bones fix everything? I know that this is hard to understand whitout images or a video so if you can't understand tell me how to post that.

Go to 4 seconds in the blue timeline not frame 1. Also, stay in the smart bone blue time line when you manipulate points not the drawing time line.

I tried that and i still run into problems. Here is images showing me trying to use smart bones and how they don't work properly.

Like you can see i run into many problems. I would be grateful to know what i need to do in order to make it work.
Re: Why doesn't my smart bones work?
First thing, delete your smart bones actions. You need to start fresh.
Start by a new action.
1) Rotate bone in one direction. I hold the shift key so the angels are at mutables of 45 deg. Go at least 24 frames. Father will make smother actions. I use 72 to 94 or 3 or 4 seconds
2) With the bone rotated, now correct the points on any layer below the bone
3) Move the time line back to make adjustments in the motion.
Go to the mainline and test.

Okay i did like you said and this how it turned out. Follow the images to see how my problems occour.

Here i am at my animation. Let's make a action. for bone 23
http://postimg.org/image/ugsbin17h/
http://postimg.org/image/8waj6pygl/
I rotate the bone whole holding shift so i rotate it 45 degrees everytime.
http://postimg.org/image/4b86ypziz/
I rotate it into this point.
http://postimg.org/image/xvvg3s86f/
I go to frame 96.
http://postimg.org/image/9edp8ml6n/
I go to the layer i need to correct the points on.
http://postimg.org/image/82vl7fa07/
A closer look on what i need to change.
http://postimg.org/image/82vl7fa07/
I correct it.
http://postimg.org/image/f7deggh9j/
http://postimg.org/image/rz1xfp6m7/
Then i go back in the timeline to frame 3 and correct the same thing there like you said.
http://postimg.org/image/xomrdr267/
I go outside the bone layer so the smart bones inactivate. Now i am back at the mainline.
http://postimg.org/image/lqv6o7v5f/
So let's try to move the bone and see our results.
http://postimg.org/image/5tmf3560v/
It still doesn't work.
This is a detalied showcase how i use the smart bones and how they fail. Whit this clarity i hope somebody can help me and say in which part i need to do something differently so i can make smart bones work.

Re: Why doesn't my smart bones work?
You rotated the bone at frame 1, this needs to also be at frame 96 (in your particular example).
The corrections you make to your vectors happen on frame 3 for some reason. You don't show what changes you make on frame 96.
As soon as you move your bone rotation forward you will more clearly see what you need to do. Make the big changes at 96, then as you scroll back, make corrections as you go along.
You might find this video I made a long time ago helpful: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JujCP2aTPw0

Re: Why doesn't my smart bones work?
It works for frame 0 but when i go to frame 1 this still happens. Even at frame 0 i need to make multiple corrections for everything to look good. Isn't the point of smart bones that you don't need to do corrections or do you still need to?

I migth look at your video though. Does it explain smart bones more detalied?

Re: Why doesn't my smart bones work?
you shouldn't need to make any changes on the main timeline - that's the point. Delete all animation from your main timeline, they are fighting with the smart bone action.
Have you changed your action so the bone is rotated to frame 96? if not, and it's still rotated on frame 1, that is your problem.

Re: Why doesn't my smart bones work?
OK,
First you have multiple fills on the arm. Get rid of them. That will take some work. First clear all fills by using the 'delete shape' tool. You should get back to one single shape. You might have to select the extra lines and delete them also. You should have one clean shape with one line and one fill. If you need a line that goes into the shape. Draw it with the add point tool then fill it by using the bucket tool directly on the line. Once you have a clean shape with very few points. Less is better. Have only what you need to make the shape.
Now remove all animation from the bone that your going to make into a smart bone. You make the smart bone and use it to move the arm. If you have animation already it will confuse your smart bone animation.
Smart bones are made by making an animation on the action time line.
First once on the action time line(blue) you should have two keys, one on frame 0 and then as you move the arm to frame 96 in the bone layer another key. Two keys 0 and 96 with full rotation of the bone.
Then go to the vector layer(s) and make the adjustment for frame 96. Then make other adjustments on other frames as needed. Try to keep it to just what you need.
One your done, then go back to the mainline and animate.
