Crash when creating new folder inside relocated folder

(For Moho v 5.3 and Mac OS X 10.3.9)

Do the following:
• In Moho: export your animation as .png and create a folder called "PNG", then save it.
• In Finder: (i.e. "Explorer" on Mac OS X) delete the "PNG" folder
• In Moho: export your animation as .png (you still see the folder called "PNG") and create a new folder called "PNG2"
--> Moho crashes

A similar operation in another application (Taco HTML Edit) retraced the folder in the Trash and saved in the subfolder [Trash Can]/PNG/PNG2.

The same occurs during any file save or export. It seems Moho doesn't deal well with relocating folders while it is running.

This bug might not be so Moho-specific, because some other apps behave in a similar way (e.g. Audacity). However, Taco HTML Edit proves that a crash doesn't have to happen. Some apps have chosen the solution to not include the "create folder" button in their save boxes, probably to avoid any such conflicts between applications.
