I am new to the forum and to the software and i keep running into a problem that i would like to know if it is me or the software is designed that way. I am setting up a character and every time i get to a certain point i can not add anymore vector layers to my project. usually i have a bone character layer, head layer, a switch eye layer a nose layer, a body layer, 2 bone layers for arms and 2 bone layer for legs and the corresponding vectors for bone layers and then i go to add new layer and only image and all that can be chosen is image audio or text. I have tried looking for the upgrades to 9 but am stuck with out of the box from the links in software. So my question is is debut limited in the number of layers you can add to your project and if so how many? if the number of layers is this small how can i possibly add any props or background to my project? any help you can give would be appreciated.

No, that's not normal behaviour.

Make sure you're at frame 0 to add layers.

Thank you so much. i am still not sure how i got past frame 0 to begin with. it seemed odd,and really glad i asked though, otherwise i would have just given up on it. thank you again
