Inside Out

Yesterday I watched Inside Out and it's fantastic. The script is incredibly smart and funny. After a long time of good but unsurprising Pixar movies, this one gets back the unexpected joy I felt with Toy Story and The Incredibles. My faith is back.

I saw Inside Out this morning. I thought it was a wonderfully original film but the whole time I kept thinking "Geez, these concepts must have been incredibly difficult to develop and visualize." Pixar pulled it off masterfully...really looking forward to seeing the production art book for this one.

Now I want to watch it again so I can enjoy it without my distracting 'animator' thoughts. :)
