I would like to know what you guys would think if these keyboard shortcuts would suddenly change in a newer version of ASP. I suggested this to the developers but understandably they wouldn't want to confuse long time users.
But as a long time user, these shortcuts never made any sense to me:
Escape = Zoom to fit layer
Enter = Deselect
Space = Bind/Create
Because...
Escape is usually a button to cancel stuff.
Enter is usually a button to confirm stuff.
Space is usually a button to pan around (in image software) or play (in editing/animation software).
Maybe...
Escape could be Deselect? (allthough I'd prefer cmd+D)
Enter could be Bind/Create?
Space could be play (and pan when holding and dragging) to avoid confusion and accidents.
Yeah, I would prefer mostly if these actions could have modifiable keystrokes. Especially, for me, I'd like to move the play button to zero (like after effects ram preview) and let the space bar be only the hold to drag key. I find I'm always accidentally pressing the spacebar too lightly while rigging and accidentally putting in keyframes where I don't want them. Then I have to go back and fix all my smart bones.

It's Shift+{ and Shift+}
But that actually doesn't work for me as a shortcut (probably because of the order of my Spanish keyboard). If it doesn't work, you can always edit that shortcuts.
Thanks. Didn't work on my Thai keyboard either so I went ahead and changed it in the editor. It's a shame it only adresses selected keyframes and not any keyframe but it's alright.

Oh, sorry, it was my mistake. I think the real shortcuts are AltGr + Right/Left
I can't confirm it here anyway, because my screen rotates with that shortcuts and I haven't been able to fix that conflict yet.
As we're on this topic, I read in the thread about AS future shaping that the transform tool can be switched to select, via ctrl on PC. Can anyone confirm and tell us what's the equivalent for Mac? (No mention of it in the shortcut editor).
