Tried without internet connection too and it worked, but in the 7day- demo mode.
So it is definitely due to license server problems.
As soon as anyone at Smith Micro is awake, I hope this will be fixed ...

Not sure about other restrictions, but it seems to work...

Is there a quick way I can block outgoing net connections from apps (without going through the rigmarole of installing Little Snitch)? The OS X firewall only blocks incoming.

BTW I've submitted a ticket to support, too.

I got the Welcome Screen and my serial number is showing on it.

Well, I didn' t get a reply from SmithMicro yet, so I am not sure if they have seen my ticket yet, but you can try sending one in of course...

I sent a ticket a couple of hours back.

Was wondering if they'd get round to answering before 8AM California time, though (which is 4PM my time )

Can't believe the fix would be done on a user-by-user basis, though, if it was something that affected more than one user. I thought it must be a general glitch their end. Perhaps certain users' info got corrupted and they're dealing with it on a case-by-case basis.

Still no reply though, but at least I am up and running - and hopefully it stays running...
Exporting a movie ( this one is 50 seconds ) does work BTW.

Would be rather odd if this was only affecting certain users, no ?
