I know how this is going to sound, but here goes-
What do you do with a flash file after you have made an a flash animation in Moho?
(After 30 years of teaching public school it is now time to have a hobby and talk about being new to this, what a hell of a learning curve! I just now started a web site and am in constant learning mode. Usually I wind up drooling and uttering duhhhhhhhhhhh)
Moho and flash animations??????????

Moho and flash animations??????????
You'll know when you get there! My Dad
The answer is...it depends. You may want to stick that Flash animation up on the web. You may want to send it off to a competition or something. You may want to only use Moho for springy movement which you want to include in another Flash file.
That's all I can think of in a hurry. Hope this helps,

You can't have everything. Where would you put it?
Let me be more specific.
What is flash?
How do I use the flash file? is it HTML?
Do I need the flash player?
Do I drag and drop the file into my Yahoo Site Builder?
I haven't seen my animation in flash because I don't know how to run it.
As Sergent Shultz said " I know nothing!"
(perhaps there is a web site for this kind of knowledge?)

Hmmm... Do you just ask because you want to ask something or do you really want to knowingie01 wrote:Let me be more specific.

-a definition of the flash format
-a book about html
-a how-to-use-flash for web
-a list of alternatives to the flash player
-a how-to-use your yahoo site builder ("my Yahoo Site Builder") and
-a different format to export your animations?
As Sokrates said "I know, that i know nothing!"
(i don't think there is a website presenting all requested information at once)

Flash is a format, like gif or jpg, only more complicated. It uses vector graphics (just like Moho) which means it draws graphics from point to point, or along a curve, instead of using pixels. This method means it's faster and uses much less bandwidth to view over the web. If I got anything wrong in that explanation, it was an accident or stupidity.ingie01 wrote:Let me be more specific.

To use the flash file, you must have a browser with the flash plugin installed and enabled (which it most likely already is, I hope.) It's not HTML. It's an object which you can embed into HTML code to display on a website (yeah, there are other ways to use flash, just stating the obvious one).
I'm pretty sure you can drag and drop the flash file into Yahoo Site Builder much like a gif or a jpeg. Try it!
I'm not sure I've ever tried to "run" a flash animation outside of a web page, so I don't know how to do that. There should be a way though.

to download & install the free Swiff Player.
It's good for watching .swf files on your computer without embedding them in an HTML document.
Let me know if drag & drop works with the yahoo site builder.
