Pixelmator & Anime Studio

The characters that I am using in Anime Studio in "Pixelmator" PNG format do not go into the Bones Layer as prescribed in the tutorials. Does Anime Studio only use "Photoshope" generated characters ?

You can export your Pixelmator files as psd!
