Here's the original clip of the tricero charging in, note the sliding feet.
My fix was to limit the horizontal layer translation to only those frames where he was in the air, and to restrict as much as possible any movement while his hooves had contact with the ground. The result is not perfect but definitely better.
And here he is with scenery added.

Well, I posted the first one, the original gallop, a few weeks ago.
And the major critique was that the triceratops was sliding around too much during the gallop cycle. So, using suggestions from Luwxanna I tried to minimize sliding, and posted up the newer less-slidey version, then put up the third one because I wanted to show him off with the scenery in place. Since I figure that people get bored looking at a plain blue and green background all the time.
But after a while they start to look the same to me, and you spend so much time making tiny little adjustments, it's good to get new eyes on it, just to be sure that it really looks better.
