first of all, let me say hello, im new to the community, but not new to the idea of working with animation, always wanted to make projects that have or are entirely animated, thanks to this software and the people behind it, i can make it happen, hope to make great camarades, and hope that you can help me solve two of my problems i have encounter.
the first one came when i rendered a test of a moving monster, i was using anime studio 9 pro, i see a blur in the eyes and other parts when it moves, i don't now if its because the camera is zooming in, or is because that's hows suppose to be, i will upload the video. what would be the best render options if the animation would be broadcast on tv? or burn to a dvd for commercial selling?
the second problem came recently, im testing the new version anime studio pro 10. i render a new test animation, but when the video plays the color seems more obscure than the one i have chosen on the software, in the preview seems the same, its weird because i opened the studio 9, render another animation, and it came out just fine.
hope you can help me out, it would be of great help.

different color when rendering

Re: different color when rendering
Changed colours in the render has mostly 2 causes:
1. You have an effect applied to a coloou which only shows up after rendering, not in project window.
2. You have chosen a codec which alters all the colours. (example: h.264 brightens the image and de-saturates the colours.)

thanks for your time man its really appreciated, yes i have notice that when i choose the h.264 and all of the iphone, ipad options it changes the saturation, can i fix it?slowtiger wrote:Changed colours in the render has mostly 2 causes:

in your opinion what would be the best option for exporting if i want to keep working on the project, but on an editing software and not loosing quality?
did you see the video? its that natural, the blurriness?
Re: different color when rendering
As long as you still exchange files between programs (AS, your video editor, AFX, whatever) use a lossless codec like PNG (can also do transparency). This will preserve colour and detail.

Re: different color when rendering
I just exported using animation in a .mov and the colors are totally different from what they're supposed to be. I was going or pastel tones a bit desaturated and was seeing that all along making my project and the the export gave me something vibrant and punchy. Luckily, It so happens I kind of like it like that. But better watch out next time. I might try the png codec to see the difference.
