ASP 9.5 bone layer check box question.

Hello fellow animators

Ok, new to ASP 9.5 is the ability to give bones a color and to label the bones.

Did anyone else notice that when you use the label bones feature, by checking the little box labeled "Show label" at top center of screen, then save your work. The next time you open the file the bones are no longer labeled, But, the box is Still checked.
If you then UN-check and then RE-check the box the labels come back.
Whats up with that?

OK I know this is an older Post, And no one has ever posted any kind of response.
BUT, I still have this problem.
Is anyone else having this issue? Is this a bug that maybe needs addressed?
I'm just curious, its really not that big of a deal. Its just that its not working, and I have to turn it on again, every time, and for every file that I used it on.
Maybe it got fixed in AS10 (fingers crossed).

There are some problems with bone labeling and what you are seeing is currently one of them. The other is bone labels corrupt smart bones when labeling them as well. Maybe someone can step in and tell if AS 10 has addressed these 2 issues.

As far as I know the first issue with labeling turning off, is fixed in v10. I am not familiar with the other issue. I only had issues with the labels not staying on after saving and reopening.

With the bone labels turned on and when you start to name smart bones, you can only label them the name of the labels and not tho bones. it is confusing...Wes, of the other forum, actually found the glitch after I posted the trouble I was having.
