Hey guys,
As I get into animating more deeply, I'm curious if you have any tips on shortcuts or workflows that make the process faster. That includes tips for the overall project, as well as specifically how to do the nuts and bolts of animation quickly.
Here's one specific question... Is there any shortcut for navigating to the top of a folder hierarchy? Like, I'm working in a character's arm vector layer, but I want to select the whole character without clicking on it in the layer palette.
I have a workflow in mind that seems pretty effective and fast, but any additional guidelines or tricks would be awesome!
Thanks,
Thrashador

For ideas on a work folder hierarchy, you could search this forum for an idea put forward by selgin. For work flow ideas, try the "alternative" forum run by Mike Kelley: Animator's Forum. He uses a Shuttle Pro to keep his hands off the keyboard.
You can't have everything. Where would you put it?
