Hey guys,
I'm about to export my animation and I was just wondering...
What's the best file format to export to?
The animation is 1920x1080 resolution and has sounds put in it, through Anime Studio.
So I need something with best (or at least good) video quality, clear sound quality, and I'd like it if the file wasn't TOO big. (However, it is going to be pretty big considering it's 1920x1080)
Soo... What should I use?
Best Exporting Format?

Re: Best Exporting Format?
Where are you going to show?
Cinema: 1920 * 1080
TV: 1240 * 720
youtube and vimeo HD: 1240 * 720
anywhere else online: smaller.
Also choose a good codec. If your goal is a small file, use h.264. If you deliver to broadcast or cinema, use uncompressed, 10.4.4 or such.

Mostly Youtube (and maybe a few other video sites).slowtiger wrote:Where are you going to show?

But instead of resolution, I was talking more about file format (avi, SWF, ect...)

Re: Best Exporting Format?
I usually export to avi (with a lossless codec) or png image sequence if I need a transparent background. I put all of the clips together in an video editing program (Sony Vegas or Premiere Elements).

I've always used AVI before, so I was just making sure there wasn't anything better. Now, this is going to be the final product of the animation. I should still use AVI, right?ErikAtMapache wrote:I usually export to avi (with a lossless codec) or png image sequence if I need a transparent background. Also, Best compression codec?
