Transparancy and GIF.

Post by analbumcover »

I have looked around a bit and I am having trouble figuring out a couple of things.

1- how do I set my background to be transparent - I want to make images without a background attached to them if possible.
2- how do I turn my projects into GIF images. I don't think I can use this program (pro 8) to make a gif directly so what is the easiest way to convert my images into what I want.

Render the video as pngs into a folder. Import those images into a photo or video editor as a sequence/layers save as animated gif.

The video editing suites I use do not convert files to gif's. What would you recomend I use to make them?

GIMP is free and can do this for you.
