It just doesn't work, and I wonder why...
When I drag a vector layer into a switch layer, the switch layer should be highlighted red and then the vector layer should be under the switch layer (meaning: in the switch layer group).
But I can only drag the vector layer above or below the switch layer, not into it.
?!?

Make sure the little arrow on the switch layer is pointing down.

A question to the developer: What is the reason for that? I wouldn't see any disadvantage when dragging a layer into the switch layer worked also when the little arrow is not pointing down.

I think the reason is to avoid confusion: when dragging over collapsed layers you're never sure where your layer landed. The concept exist elsewhere as well.
