Has anyone using AS switched from Windows to Mac

I'm looking at new computers, currently working with AS on Windows, but considering a switch to Mac

- Has anyone used AS on PC and Mac, and did you think there was a performance difference?

- Do you guys using a Mac have the "no Quicktime issue" on the 64 Bit version? Or is that just a Windows version issue?

- People say, typically speaking, that Mac works better with art software. What do you guys think? I've never felt smart enough to actually get involved in the whole PC vs. Mac debate.

A good PC is as powerful and reliable as a Mac - if it's as powerful as the Mac, which means it can't be cheap. Quicktime was a great framework and still is on Mac, but I haven't heard complaints from other artists who just use AVI on PC and equally successful produce films.

ASP runs fine on both windows and OS X, but you won't have the quicktime issue on OS X.
