EyeDropper

Post by trevorparscal »

I really need an eyedropper tool.. Just a simply "grab this color from this part of the screen" thing... Its SOOO annoying coping the hex codes to match things...

I know that you can copy and past styles, but making the color picker have an eyedropper would be really sweet!

It doesn't have to be an eyedropper, I would settle for a spoon or an ice cream scoop as long as it can pick the color!

I just use the custom Image Swatch. may be a pain for images requiring tons of colors, but you only have to make it once. but id have to agree, an eyedropper tool would be of great help. to think i took it for granted in paint applications all these years.

2 years later and people are still asking for this. I want it, too. I've been having to keep another program open just to use its eyedropper, and copy/paste the hex value of that colour into AS.

In linux version I cannot "paste" nothing in an input box of AS. It is due to the API of AS is not the linux common API (GNOME in my case) :(
I also want an eyedroper!! :(
Also the "not allow to paste" in linux is very anoying because I cannot copy calculated values from other program or just paste values inside AS itself.
