How do I toggle a layer's view? (AS:9 Pro) Please Help!

How do I toggle a layer's view? (AS:9 Pro) Please Help!

Hey guys.
So, I recently made the giant jump from Anime Studio 5 Substandard all the way to Anime Studio 9 Pro. I was VERY fluent in AS:5, and have happily been able to find my way around easily... Except for this one thing. As you saw from the title, I can't find the "View Layer Toggle". No, not the eyes to the left of the layer. I'm talking about this:

Where can I find this tool or a tool that works the same way? I just want to be able to toggle the view on my layer in the timeline. I assume you can do this, because it's a pretty big thing. Sooo, where is it? Thanks for you help!

Also, while I'm at it, how to you move a shape(s) infront of other shapes in the same layer? This is another VERY important thing.

that's Layer Visibility and it's turned on or off in the layer settting / general tab.

You can shift shapes to / towards front and back in the Draw menu Raise / Lower Shape - but shape order within a layer can not (as standard) be animated (however, there is a script available by SynthSin75 in the other forum BUT it's in the VIP section).

Oh, Thank you so much! This was a life-saver. I had just started just simple making all my shapes invisible, haha. Glad you came along and saved a lot of time!

That's a bit sad that you it can't raise/lower shapes while in animation, but oh well. I can work around it.

Again, thank you GREATLY for the help!

glad to have helped -- and welcome to the forum.

you can animate LAYER order... so if your design permits and doesn't make life too complicated: in the GROUP (or bone etc) layer - in layer settings / depth sort tab: enable animated layer order
