For anyone that is interested, the Yiynova MSP19U is a 19" interactive pen display that is similar to the Wacom Cintiq. The huge difference is in the price. The 22" Wacom Cintiq retails for $1999 and the Yiynova MSP19U sells for $569 on Amazon. I ordered one yesterday for an early Christmas present to myself. I just hope it works well with Anime and Manga Studio. Definitely a steal at this price for what you get.
BTW, there are 2 models the MSP19 and MSP19U. They both are for Mac and Windows even though on the website they are pushing the 19 for Windows and the 19U for Mac's. The 19U has the newer drivers that fixed some jitter problems experienced on the MSP19 model. In other words regardless of which operating system you run, Mac or Windows, the MSP19U is what you want to purchase even though it is a little more expensive then the MSP19. At least that is what has been explained to me so far.

I don't know if I will be putting one of those together but I did get one of my questions answered with this video reviewer who used Manga Studio for the demo and it works fine. Now its down to just Anime Studio and Painter. Things are looking very good! He was having a problem with Illustrator and pressure sensitivity but I have been told that is resolved by:

What I found interesting that no one pointed out before is that it can be used like a standard drawing tablet (i.e. Intuos) or you can turn on the "mirroring" function and draw directly on it (i.e. Cintiq). There is also a 10.1" for $350 for those people who were thinking of getting a tablet with drawing options. This might be a better fit. The difference you have to keep in mind is that these are basically monitors in that they are not standalone options, they need to be connected to your computer. The 19U directly to your graphics card and 10.1 via USB.
Just went online to Amazon and I see the tracking states it is now in the custody of my local UPS facility so being closed for Thanksgiving that means I will be receiving it on Black Friday!
BTW, I looked at the Amazon store and it looks like they are going to sell out for the holidays; only 3 left!
And they are back in stock at Amazon once again...yeah! I have been told that the price is going up after Jan 1 though.
I have been very busy since its arrival so not much time to play around with it. I did manage to get it set up (quick temp method) and test it out to make sure it worked. I must say that I was quite impressed with its size and construction. I did some quick sketches in Photoshop CS6 and it worked great. I have variable line stroke and responded well to the pressure sensitive pen. I also did some sketches in Sketchbook Pro 6 and had good line flow without any lag. I didn't get any variable line widths or pressure sensitive features. It may well be that Sketchbook Pro doesn't support it as I didn't see any setting for a tablet or setting on the tools for pressure sensitive variation of line width.
