I wrote a message in feature requests about these issues, but maybe there are ways to accomplish them I haven't found yet.
1. Is there a trick or script that would enable you to edit the animation curves of two or more objects simultaneously in the motion graph window?
2. Is there a way to auto zoom on just one channel of an object? For example, if there are X and Y translate curves, auto zoom will frame
them both, leaving the each curve appearing very flat because their value ranges are different from each other. I have to always go in and manually
adjust the center and zoom to get the curve to fill the motion graph window.
3. Is there a script that will auto-zoom on selected keys in the motion graph?
I traditionally like to build and polish animation in a graph editor type environment, and for me, the motion graph is still
limiting this kind of workflow.
Thanks for an guidance on this!

Re: Two motion graph questions
Well, correct me anyone if I'm wrong - but I think the answer to all three questions is "no".
The graph editor, as of now, is "one object only" and there is no access to the interface stuff through scripting either.
Which is a real pity!!!
I also come from a 3D background and I agree with you, there is still MUCH room for improvement in the functionality of the graph editor, even if there actually was a bunch of good additions provided in AS9, which I am thankful for... but... It's still a long way to go before we can control and polish curves the way we want and need to to in Anime Studio.
I saw your list on the "feature request discussion" and I agree on all points ! I hope SM reads it too and that the developers take all these requests into serious consideration! A major improvement of the graph editor is one of the most important stepping stones if you want to make AS a truly professional tool. In my humble opinion.
