Maked Outlines

Post by trevorparscal »

I have a problem with masks and outlines.. I know why it does it, it's just annoying to work around...

When I have a layer added to the mask, it's outline is considdered part of the maks just as much as the fill, of course, but it causes me to have to duplicate the mask layer and enable the outline / disable the fill, just to get the desired result. Is there any other work around?

Perhaps a new feature could be to somehow add only the fill to the mask and leave the outline around the mask visible...

Example...

Hello Trevor,

You can try leaving out the outline in the mask layer, and adding it in as a shadow (with no offset or blur, but a unit or two of expansion) in the group layer.

There's an example at http://www-personal.monash.edu.au/~myle ... c/eye.moho

Regards, Myles.
