Eve of October: New model renders, Scene 4.

Post by neomarz1 »

So this has been the thing that has held me up on Scene 4 for Eve of October. I have been working with long time friend and associate "Psyko Pat" to get these 3D models compiled and put into the edit. It has been a big learning curve for me. You would think you just put the models in scene right? No, it's a bit of work to make it all look right. Planning the perspectives, figuring out good frame rates to preserve the quality, and adjusting each layer to balance out just right. There is more to still be added.... even in the first part. Hope you all enjoy. Please subscribe to my channel, and give me a thumbs up if you like. Marzout

Your work has a style all it's own and an epic feel to it. How long will the completed film be and what are your intentions regarding distribution etc? If you can say that is :D

Well... I was originally shooting for 50 Minutes, but Looking at the script, and guessing. I would think at least and hour. The production schedule is a bit congested this time around, so I don't think the film will be out as fast as the last one. (O.V.A. 1 took a year to make. This one will take a little longer) Right now the film is about 50% finished, as a loose guess. The video will be released the same as the first O.V.A. (through Amazon). Still need to make the film festival circuit, but I want to finish OVA 2 first. I may leave OVA3 alone... till I give Eve a proper "Promotional Campaign".

I've just looked up your first film on Amazon and I might get it. You deserve the support I think :D
I bet if you put a 'making of' on your next one it would help with sales too?

Very cool, thanks! Yeah, believe me it's a lot better than looking at clips. The first DVD also has the interviews of the voice cast, of course those are also hosted on my youtube channel. I think you'll enjoy it. I still am very proud of the first film, even though I would have changed a few things. Let me know what you think.

By the way... If you do pick up the DVD, send me a picture that you received it, and I will send you an autographed sketch or something. send me a message via my youtube channel. I deeply appreciate any support!

I'd have to say that clip is pretty dramatic.
Love the Kirby krackling energy when the laser cuts through the city.
Nice work!
