Continual Crashes While Rendering - in AS8

Hi Everyone, If anyone has experienced this (and more importantly fixed it) I could sure do with some advice. I have been working on a project. From time to time I render the project up to the frame I have completed. The first 2 times I rendered (at frame 202 and 550) it rendered fine. Now I am on frame 1660 and every time I try render, it crashes and gives me the message "AS8 has stopped working". Any advice/guidance much appreciated.
