Particle Effect

Post by Mukor »

Hey guys, if you look down at the picture, u will notice that the middle part of the aliens are not as much as the other part. I used the particle layer to try to make a lot of aliens equally. I just wonder how to make the aliens spread equally. Thanks! Image

I would not use particles for this purpose. Try putting your character layers (head, body, etc.) into a group layer (or bone layer) and then do repeated 'Duplicate Layer' function on that group/bone layer. Use 'translate layer' tool to move those duplicates to space them as you choose. If you depress the 'shift' key down while moving the translate tool layers will move straight. (Duplicate Layer is the icon folder with the + sign on it... it is located above the listing of your layers)

Hope this is clear and helpful. The big fun in this is to animate the first character and then duplicate... all the characters will have the same motions which can yield synchronized dancers!
