masking problem

Post by lda.com »

Masking is very difficult in this software

I want to mask my character which is object A with a curtain like object which will be object B.

Both needs to be invisible.

As the object B moves up like a curtain, the object A starts getting visible from bottom.

How do I achieve this?

You could do this with out masking.
layers like this

curtain
character
stage floor
background

And just translate the curtain up.
Sorry for bad animation

I can do it in reverse, like the character is visible and the curtain goes up and its making it invisible but I need it exactly opposite
