I downloaded the demo of Anime Studio Pro. I mainly want to see how clean it can import obj's I make in Zbrush and 3DS. So I read on how to import it, only the option is grey for me.
I click File / Import /
and 3D OBJ model is grey.
Is there a reason I can't import it? is the 30 day trial not fully functional?
This is really the main thing I want to see demo'd so I'm hoping I can try it out soon.
Thanks!
Brian

Re: How do I import a OBJ
As far as I know, if you have the “non-credit-card” trial-version of Anime Studio Pro...?
The following limitations might apply...
• Preview is watermarked and can't be saved to disk
• Export animation is disabled
• Importing is disabled (that might include OBJ)
• Upload to YouTube/Facebook is disabled
• Batch export is disabled

Re: How do I import a OBJ
Thanks Nolan,
that would probably be the reason then. I really wish they'd let me import a obj though - that's the main thing i'm interested in. I just want to see the workflow from zbrush - decimation master - to anime studio.
Thanks again

Re: How do I import a OBJ
I re-read your post and realized I could have this full functionality if I downloaded the trial where I input my CC.
thanks Nolan. I was able to import some paintings, etc. so I fee better about it. I still can't get the zbrush obj's to import - but I think it's due to their high poly count.

Re: How do I import a OBJ
Poser Debut was available for free a while ago...
But, I think, it’s back to $ 49.99 again...?
Otherwise try DAZ Studio 4, I guess, it’s still free for a limited time...
http://www.daz3d.com/products/daz-studi ... daz-studio
Objects from both versions should import easily as OBJ files into Anime Studio Pro...
