Hi, I am doing an animation project for school and part of this requires a review from people who I have 'passed on knowledge' to, to do this I have made a tutorial for a simple animation and I really need people to review it, if anyone can spare the time to write just a paragraph to review it I would be very grateful. (the tutorial is text-based so i have made a download link of it( http://www.mediafire.com/view/?a18urs4s2mh8zly ))
thank you so much if you can

Re: Simple animation tutorial- needs review
It's a good simple introduction, but you should be mindful of whether you're selecting points, shapes, and layers.
For example: "To get the shading, select the ball layer that you should have made, and go to the side palette." might be revised as "To get the shading, select the ball SHAPE USING THE SELECT SHAPE TOOL (KEYSTROKE Q) and go to the side palette."
Note your description isn't "shading" per se, but a gradient fill. There is a proper shading option in the layers setting.
This statement "you simply select the ball layer, then select the shape layer and click on the oval at the top." would more accurately written as "you simply select the ball layer, then select the DRAW SHAPE TOOL (KEYSTROKE E) and click on the oval IN THE TOOL OPTIONS at the top."
Also, when you say "just move the ball up the hill", you might add that all the points need to be selected, "Select the ball shape using the Select Points tool (keystroke G), making sure all the points are selected (points are red), then use the move points tool (keystroke T).
Note an easier way to move the ball all at once is to use the Translate Layer tool (keystroke 1).
Finally, "...shot period of the ball being completely dark", you meant "SHORT period"?
Good luck with this.
