Animated Shuttle

Post by AmigaMan »

Everything was created in Anime Studio except the shuttle which was modelled and animated in Hash Animation:Master and Toon Rendered.

That looks great. I think the art and the song a perfect match. :D Hildebrandt's voice reminds me a lot of Elliot Smith.

I have to learn how to make a car change perspective for some stuff. Looks pretty challenging.

Thanks. It seems to fit so far. Elliot Smith did the Thumbsucker soundtrack right?
Michael Hildebrandt used his own money and produced this album entirely by himself. He seems to be doing pretty well with it.
I forgot to mention I used PD Pro Howler for the background. It has a starfield generator. Handy :D

I'm not sure just exactly how that Thumbsucker thing worked out. I think he started it and then another band finished it after he died.

I need to invest in some of the other toys you're working with.

Tim DeLaughter of Polyphonic Spree completed Thumbsucker yes.

Well none of the software is very expensive. You could use Blender for free if you have time to learn it. I continue to use Animation:Master because I'm fairly familiar with it and, for 3D software, it's very intuitive. I haven't got a Maya License at home but I'm not a great fan of Maya anyway. PD Pro Howler is very powerful, fantastic for drawing and painting and quite inexpensive.
