noisy tween

Post by Eric »

I'm new to Anime Studio and to this forum. Although this is my first post, the forum has been extremely helpful already.

I'm trying to add a slight jiggle to some objects as they move. I select the keyframe in the timeline and choose "noisy" from the options. The problem is that regardless of the settings I choose, the jiggle is too strong.

I understand what amplitude means, although I don't know what scale it uses to measure it. Is it relative to the object size or to the document? what measurement does it use? and what does the "scale" option mean?

TIA, Eric

I'd recommend to do this by hand to get a better result. Dependent on your object, it might be a good idea to separate the jiggle from the overall movement by applying it to a different channel.

Example: a ball thrown, done with a layer translation. The jiggle done with the scale tool, in a very small cycle.
