Shadow Direction Animated

Post by Giuseppe »

Here my problem...I'm using ASP8 and I'm trying to use the Shadow tab of the layer. So since I'm using it to a character which is moving in a room I'd like to change the shadow direction accordnlgi with the lamp position.

So I was not able to use the standard shadow tab since it is not possible to change the direction in different timeline....

I tried to use the masking approach (explained in the manual)....but I'm not able to use the mask in the swicth layers included in the character like the hand...(so you don't see the hands in tha shadow)....

Do you have some suggestions?

Thanks in advance

Duplicate your character layer (the top layer of it), set one's shadow to outside direction, the other one's shadow to inside, switch visibility between them.

Thanks for the reply...but in this way you see a step in the shadow direction no something in moving...
