images for background .. noisy problem !!

Post by Egyptianboy »

my output video is disappointing
the background jungle ( jpeg or png ) gets noisy , and hesitates , in the parts with gradient or soft edge.
also my animated vector character does the same in the parts with gradient or soft edge.
but it looks clean when i use vector background ... how to eliminate that noisy effects when using images
for background or landscape ... thanks

Which codec are you using, with which settings, especially how many colours?

Try to export just 1 frame first, as PNG image. Open this and see if the problem is there. If it is, you may have set accidentially some effects on.

I apologize for bothering you ...
ex : that kid' cheeks pinky soft effects ( my avatar on left) turns to degrees and keep noising
so does the image BG .. just during animation frames
it's ok when i use vector BG

Don't use Cinepak codec. It's old and clunky.
Try Photo JPEG codec. It usually plays fairly smoothly.

Download and use QuickTime instead of AVI. It works much better.

Another thing you might try is to render individual numbered frames instead of a movie, then compile a movie from that.
