Start new scene

Hello All

I am new here and Introduced myself in the Chit Chat section.

Question is how would I cut from one scene to a new scene in the same timeline with a new layer in the same animation. Similar to changing from one scene to another in a film. The second object appears from the start and I need it to start at say frame 150. Or is there another method.javascript:emoticon(':roll:')

There are a couple ways to this. Put all your elements from scene one into a group layer, and all of your elements for scene two in another group layer. Now put both of these group layers into a switch layer. Right clicking on the switch layer in the layer palette lets you switch between both scenes. You can also use the fade script located in the scripts submenu at the top. This script will let you transition between the scenes smoother than the switch cut. When you use this script, you'll need to render to see the transition effect.
