Anime Studio Pro great for caricature!!

Post by mdmodeler »

I just wanted to share how I'm using the bones feature to create caricatures of celebrity. Then I'm taking the image into Corel Painter for rendering and fixing distortions.
I used to use Photoshop's liquify plug in but never liked the outcome then one day I opened Anime Studio to play around with some images. Then it struck me how easy it was for me to get the caricature look by using the bones to morph images. They need a lot of cleaning up after they are deformed but they look so much better than the squeezed look of Photoshop's liquify.

Thanks for looking.

That's some really awesome stuff mdmodeler! I'm defiantly going try this! I think the final look is brilliant and like you said the liquefy function in photoshop doesn't work that well for morphing even when you play with the settings! Thanks for the share!
Practice random acts of kindness and senseless acts of beauty! Pause, consider, do! I dare you!
