Nudge points or objects up, down, sideways via the keyboard?

Post by SpaceBoy64 »

Most other drawing programs have the ability to use the keyboard to nudge things one little bit at a time. Can I do this in AS8?

I am frustrated by having to use one tool to select points, then another tool to move points via the mouse. Quite often my points are accidentally unselected before I can move them. :x

Can I select some points, and then later decide to select more, one at a time? I don't want to drop the points I already have selected. In other programs, I hold down the shift key to add to selection. I'm frustrated that this doesn't work in AS.

The shift key does allow you to select and deselect points if you are using the select points tool.

Also if you want a group of points to be easily selected again, create a group for them. You can always select that group and hold the shift key down and add more points.
Sorry for bad animation

Right. And for nudging points, use the translate points tool, hold down the ctrl key and use the arrow keys (Windows).
