I started a render, and left to go grocery shopping. When I got back, only a few frames had rendered!
At that rate, my project will never be completed.Anybody have any idea why it's so slow? Vector rendering is really quick.

Photoshop layers taking forever to render
I used the Photoshop layer import and was very pleased... until I decided to render.
I started a render, and left to go grocery shopping. When I got back, only a few frames had rendered! At that rate, my project will never be completed.
Anybody have any idea why it's so slow? Vector rendering is really quick.

It's 1280 x 720. 10 layers maybe?
I shut off all but one layer and that was taking way too long.
I ended up using Trace Drawing to create vector characters and rendered them separately, then I did the rest of the compositing and animation in After Effects. I added a bunch of stuff and some blurring and distortion effects, and it still only took 19 minutes to render the whole thing in AE.
