Why do the outlines of my character get so thin?

its the exact same file, but when i soom the outline thickness also change.

If you double click on the layer in the layer palette, you'll bring up the layer properties menu. In that menu you'll find an option called scale compensation. This is checked on by default. You can un-check it if you don't want the line widths to change when zooming.
