I use FireFox also and it kept saying that it couldn't install because the file was corrupt. It was a lie and when I selected close it installed all the software and I was off and going til I hit the sound part. I didn't get it either.
It said something like call into these numbers and enter these codes to participate. I tried that but couldn't get a ring on either phone number provided. I eventually just pressed, yes I want to participate, and another pop up displayed to set the sound and mic. I set the sound and then I could hear it too.
So I only missed a little in the beginning but yes it works fine in FireFox too.

I ran into the same thing with Firefox. Ended up having to go TOOLS and set up some net protections. Actually turn some off and then also needed to follow a rather convoluted path. BUT once I got there it was very good and towards the end pointed me in some new directions. No many how many times you read HELP files there are still things that a forum, particularly a live one can give you that you have missed.
thanks all for the webcast.

@fahim -- Hi - I'm just re-watching this... (yes - it does merit another viewing) ..... But it occurred to me that the AS team could add some value to the "lead-in" visuals.. I had a problem getting audio at first - it was quickly resolved (thanks to Michi!). BUT -- when Fahim is talking about the "housekeeping" - maybe you could put up a slide with some useful help - such as "if you're not hearing this you need to <do whatever>" (or, indeed, have that as a "tickertape" for the first 30 secs or so...)?

Thanks Hayasidist, I'll go back to my old way of doing things and put up a Housekeeping slide with more visible info for folks so that they can get help.hayasidist wrote:@fahim -- Hi - I'm just re-watching this...
